Peace Collective's Capacity Building and Leadership Development programmes equip community leaders and young people with the skills they need to address social harms, lead community initiatives, and build resilience. Our approach is based on enhancing existing strengths and providing practical tools for effective leadership.


Core Activities


  • Resilience Training: We offer tailored training to help leaders and young people develop resilience, enabling them to face and overcome challenges related to social harms and conflict in their communities.

  • Trauma-Informed Leadership Training: Participants learn how to lead in ways that are sensitive to the effects of trauma, creating safe environments where community members can thrive. This training is essential for ensuring that leaders can support the recovery and well-being of those impacted by conflict or social division.

  • Conflict Prevention and Mediation Skills: We provide practical skills for preventing conflicts and mediating disputes within communities. This includes training on effective communication, active listening, and collaborative problem-solving.
